Who are Stick and Goo?

So, the blog is called STICK AND GOONIVERSE, and I’m guessing that by now, you’re probably wondering why. Let me explain. Stick and Goo (c) are characters I invented a few years ago. They go on little adventures together, sometimes with their friends such as Deutschdog (c), and they have all sorts of fun. Every Stick and Goo comic has a moral at the end, which is either not related at all to the story, or is related via a tenuous link. Thats because they’re good guys, and their parents brought them up right! :)

When put together, all of the characters of Stick and Goo, and all of the stories make up the Stick and Goo Universe, or Stick and Gooniverse for short. Neat, eh? And no, it’s not some weird variant on cockney rhyming slang!

I came up for the idea of Stick and Goo in a German lesson way back in high school. There they are, in their original glory ^. I don’t know how I thought them up, but I must say I do think they are brilliant! They have gone on at least 4 adventures so far (by this I mean they have been on 4 fully completed adventures), they have appeared in other works I have done. Their first ever adventure was ‘Germans!’. This was also the first appearance of Deutschdog.

I plan to draw them into a feature length comic adaptation of RISE OF THE ARACHNID, a horror movie I wrote and also wrote about a few days back on this very blog! Watch this space!

As a matter of fact, I just finished their latest adventure – ‘Artiste Extraordinaire’! Do you want to see? OF COURSE YOU DO!! :D

So, dear reader, feast your eyes on this visual sunday roast of a comic. Mmm. Tasty!
